ABOUT DR. SACHINKUMAR G. MODHA

Dr. Sachinkumar G. Modha completed his B.Sc. (Chemistry) from MD Science college Porbandar and MSc (Organopharmaceutical Chemistry) from Department of Chemistry, Saurashtra University, Rajkot. He obtained pre-doctoral and doctoral degrees from University of Leuven (KU Leuven), Belgium. He then worked at University of Manchester, United Kingdom (UK), as post-doctoral fellow. Later obtained Alexander von Humboldt (AvH) post-doctoral fellowship and worked at Technical University of Munich, Germany with one year extended stay. Currently he is working as Assistant Professor at Department of Chemistry, Uka Tarsadia University. He has published 28 publications in peer reviewed international journals with total impact factor of 155 and h-index of 18. His group is mainly working on Multicomponent reactions, atom economical processes and alkyne activation.
